It’s time for Mr. Ontop’s underappreciated classic rock song of the day. This comes from Boston’s fourth album, “Walk On.” Released in 1994 to not a lot of fanfare, it was viewed as a last attempt at relevance in the ever changing music scape that defined the 90’s. At a time when everyone was wearing plaid everything and navel gazing with the grunge band of the moment, an older arena-rock act like Boston still it made up to #7 on the billboard top 200 albums of the year. Not too shabby.
Anyway, put on your headphones and enjoy the magnum opus of Walk on. Tracks 4-7 if you actually still have the CD gathering dust somewhere. And how does this relate to Oppo? It’s damn good driving music.

I remember swiping this from my dad when I was a kid and listening to it. Good stuff, but out of its element in the Seattle-ified 90s.

Agreed, but even now you have to admre the attention to detail and arrangement that they put into this.

Definitely, so precise and well-orchestrated.
